The top of brokers on RASDAQ Electronic Stock Exchange has been in June dominated by Raiffeisen Capital & Investment, the brokerage arm of Raiffeisen Bank, which handled total deals worth 378.4bn ROL (10.47m euros).
Friday was the last trading day of this month, since brokers will go on holiday until July 4th amid the domestic currency redenomination.
Raiffeisen brokers handled the most important transaction of this month, the takeover of a 27% stake of Astra insurance company by Uniqa Austrian company, from Nova Trade controlled by businessman Dan Adamescu. The deal amounted to 361.7bn ROL (10m euros) and it accounted for 60% of last month''s total value of deals sealed on RASDAQ.
The second position in June''s top was held by IFB Finwest of Arad, which handled transactions worth 49.7bn ROL (1.35m euros). The company managed the sale of the 14.7% stake SIF Banat-Crisana owned in Remarul 16 Februarie of Cluj-Napoca.
BT Securities, the brokerage arm of Banca Transilvania, ranked third in June, after it carried out transactions worth 36.1bn ROL (almost one million euros). In Q1 of this year, BT Securities brokers handled transfers worth above 340bn ROL (9.3m euros), ranking seventh.
The value of transactions completed on RASDAQ in June came to 606 billion ROL (16.8 million euros). One of the most traded issuers was ARDAF insurance company, whose stock was the object of transfers standing at 51 billion ROL (1.4 million euros).
