Retail chain Altex posted sales worth 35 million euros in the first four months of 2004 - 12 million euros having been logged in April. "The impressive sales recorded by our company in the first months of the year have exceeded our expectations, except for February, when the entire market felt the impact of the new norms and regulations enforced by the National Bank of Romania," said Dan Ostahie, chairman of Altex.
