31.01.2005, 00:00 9

Aker Braila shipyard last year reported total revenues standing at 1,300.5 billion ROL (32 million euros), 56% higher as compared to the 832.2 billion ROL registered in 2003, according to the company's preliminary data. The substantial revenue growth allowed the company to return to profit, after two consecutive years of losses, though the expenditures also went up, but at a slower pace in 2004. Net profit Aker Braila estimates for 2004 amounts to 24.3 billion ROL, given that total expenditures were limited to 1,276 billion ROL. The shipyard's debts stand at 1,007 billion ROL, while its receivables reached 60.4 billion ROL. The company's turnover last year stood at 844.9 billion ROL. In 2002, the company's losses were worth 121.6 billion ROL and in 2003 dropped to 57.6 billion ROL. At the end of 2001, Aker Braila reported net profit standing at 12.7 billion ROL. ZF
