3i investment fund, a global leader in its field, has shown an interest in all companies put up for sale in the pharmaceutical and private medical services industry over the last few years. "3i has examined every sizeable company that has altered its shareholder structure over the last five or six years; throughout the whole pharmaceutical sector. We can include here drug producers, providers of private medical services, as well as providers of medical devices," said Alan MacKay, Global lead partner, healthcare at 3i Investments, in an interview with ZIARUL FINANCIAR. 3i Investments holds shares in three Romanian companies, Centrul Medical Unirea (healthcare), Romprest (facilities management) and Gecad Technologies (software), as a result of transactions concluded last year. The total value of funds that the group has invested in Romania stands at over 20 million euros.
