Arena City Center company has started building a mall-type commercial centre in Bacau, worth 35 million euros. "The idea came to us two years ago, when, together with several Italian architects, we noticed the high potential of this land plot located in the centre of the city. We took into account the purchasing power of Bacau citizens and the strategic position of the city when we decided to build this regional mall," stated Ovidiu Budeanu, a chairman with Arena City Center. The total value of the project stands at 35m euros, with half of this sum accounting for the value of the land and of the current building on which the mall will be built, as well as for the expenses registered so far, while the rest comes from a loan contracted from HVB Romania. The mall will spread on 31,000 square metres, structured on three levels, ground floor and two floors, with rental prices depending on the rented area and brand name.
