Wizrom promotes two new e-management products

18.06.2001, 00:00 4

Romania-based WizRom, one of the leading local integrated business solutions providers, officially presented two new products in Bucharest, before more than 200 managers: WizTop, destined to companies dealing in sales, and WizPro, dedicated to manufacturing companies.

The WizTop solution provides mobility to sales agents and rapid collection of market data on a digital format. In other words, the sales agents of the companies that have WizPro running on their computers use a "mobile terminal" (Hand Held Computers, running WindowsCE/Pocket PC) connected to the main system via the mobile phone, a land line or via the Internet, and a specialised software package.

This leads to a significant reduction of the time required for taking and filling orders, to an improvement in credit recovery, as well as to providing activity-related data in real time. The databases of the system (clients/items) may go up without limits and can tell every WizTop user everything about the clients (general information, debts to be paid, the purchasing history, payment deadlines, and discounts).

WizTop solution also allows gathering marketing information, analysing the sales performances, sending messages to each client or sales agent, issuing documents such as offers, orders, shipment or return papers, bills or receipts.

The other product launched these days, WizPro, is an Enterprise Resource Planning package and provides an integrated enterprise management solution, no matter the size or the type of company. The WizPro solution comes with financial, marketing, sales, supplying, stock management, service, production, management reports functions, all of them in a closed system.

The solution is tailored to the needs of the Romanian market, but is capable of providing financial "answers" in an international language and process transactions operated in various currencies, euro included. WizPro also ships with a module that allows managing the entire staff in a specific company.

"We are offering one of the few business-management solutions in Romania that can be used in a VPN (virtual private network)," Cristian Udrescu, WizRom general manager, told Ziarul Financiar.

The company last year sold 50-60% more than in 1999. WizRom's sales over the first five months of this year have already increased 50% (if calculated in USD), with Cristian Udrescu estimating that the company's 2001 turnover will go somewhere around $3 million.

In its nine years in business, WizRom has managed to secure about 1,000 clients and has issued six or seven thousand licences for its products.
