The Maspex group will double its investments on the local market by building its second soft drinks plan in Valenii de Munte (Prahova county). At first, the new facility will bottle non-carbonated soft drinks Tedi Play and Tymbark Fontea, recently launched on the local market. The producer of Tymbark juices has also entered the carbonated drinks segment, with the Life brand. "Following the investment in a new production facility, the plant in Valenii de Munte will become the largest plant of the Maspex group, both in terms of capacity and in terms of size," said representatives of Tymbark Maspex Romania, who specified that they will not consider acquiring an already existing plant, but would prefer organic growth on the soft drinks market. The 30 million-euro investment, which will be completed in the autumn of this year, includes the building of a production centre and of storage facilities, as well as the acquisition of aseptic bottling lines. The company owns an around 5-hectare plot in Valenii de Munte.
