Marta Popa and Daniel Costea are the new partners on the Voicu & Filipescu team, one of the best-known law firms on the market. Marta Popa, who has been working for the firm for five years, is experienced in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, financial regulations, competition and labour law. Daniel Costea, who has also been a part of the team for five years, is experienced in mergers & acquisitions, corporate law, competition, real estate and intellectual property. The Voicu & Filipescu firm, which has had a partnership with the Americans at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P. from 2001, last year handled transactions worth over a billion euros, among which the Astral-UPC transaction and the increase of France Telecom''s stake in Orange Romania.
