Smartree Romania, one of the main providers of IT solutions for human resources departments has seen significant growth this year, with its management estimating the turnover to be worth more than $1 million in 2003.
The increase in sales this year, 117%, was beyond expectations, the company officials say, who believe this is due to the success of the IT solutions (services and applications) for HR management on the Romanian market. The clients most interested in this type of solutions were the large companies, Smartree officials explain. Smartree Romania's newest clients this year include Banca Transilvania, Microsoft Romania, Nestle Romania, Coty Cosmetics and Motoractive. "The year 2003 was a time of significant development for our business along with an increase in the interest of our clients for outsourcing human resource management operations," stated Ionela Berciu, Smartree's country manager for Romania. Smartree solutions help manage about 33,000 employees in various fields of endeavour at the moment. Smartree Romania is a branch of Smartree Ltd., a human resource solution provider.
