Scop Computers and Microsoft Romania at the end of last week during the "Document Management Solutions" seminar presented a series of complex applications destined to make the document flow in a company more efficient. "The amount of information coming in our out of a specific company is constantly increasing so that one has to put this information in order, structure and archive it in order to keep efficient in accumulating and releasing information," Alexandru Visan, Scop Computers CEO, said.

The main topics on the agenda of the seminar were the life cycle of the electronic documents (editing, archiving, keeping the versions, access via the Internet) and of traditional documents on paper support (scanning to files or e-mail addresses, networking printing, copying, finishing).

At the same time, the new Toshiba e-Studio multifunctional equipment range was introduced. The new range integrates copier, printer, scanner, fax and e-mail functions and includes both small workgroup machines and high speed and high yield ones.

Microsoft demonstrated the document management facilities of the Office XP application.
