RAO Publishing Group, controlled by Anca and Ovidiu Enculescu, forecast revenues worth 10 million euros this year, up by around 43% against last year. "The literature segment is the best-selling one. Our top sellers ranking is dominated by Steve Berry, John Grisham and Kate Mosse, whose books sell for 50-60 RON per book," said Alina Bratu, coordinator of the PR and communication department within the group. The company published 400 new titles last year, which sold around 4,000 copies each. Now, we are concentrating on investing in promoting and selling the numerous already released titles," she specified. During the winter holiday season, representatives of the RAO publishing house expect a high demand for books, especially those that target the whole family. "In the second part of the year, we have published titles such as 'Universul' ('Universe'), and 'Tutankhamon' ('Tutankhamun'), as well as guides and albums of very good graphic quality. We expect these titles to sell as well as the encyclopaedias, which last year became the most sought-after gift in bookstores throughout Romania," she said.
