The IT&C fair CERF (Computers & Electronics Romanian Fair), which took place from May 9th to May 13th, organised by Expotek and held at the Romexpo exhibition centre, attracted around 60,000 visitors, a decrease from figures registered in the last few years. Before the opening of the fair, Expotek officials announced that they expected to attract over 75,000 visitors, an increased estimate from last year's fair, which was attended by around 74,000 people. According to the organisers, there was a large concentration of visitors towards the end of the week, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However, in contrast to other years, over the weekdays, the fair was visited by a large number of business clients, in search of business solutions, and by a small number of young people who were interested in "looking around". This year's CERF exhibition saw 150 companies participating, representing 550 brands, and covering a total exhibition area of almost 14,000 square metres.
