Investment vehicle RI Investment Group, controlled by Irish investors, is very close to signing the acquisition contract for a 17,000 square-metre plot in the centre of the Capital City, in a transaction worth 12 to 14 million euros. The seller is businessman Dragos Dobrescu, who owns several plots of land in the Capital City. "We are very close to completing the sale of a 17,000 square-metre plot in the Splaiul Independentei area. The sale price stands at around 750 euros per square metre, which means (the deal i.e.) will amount to a total 12 to 14 million euros," Dragos Dobrescu commented for ZF. The other party, RI Investment Group, did not wish to make any comment on the matter for the time being. On the market of transactions with plots of land in Bucharest, the northern area dominates by far in terms of volume, with the top locations being the Pipera area, the area close to National Road 1 Bucharest - Ploiesti, the plots of land close to Progresul Road and the Semanatoarea area. RI Investment Group entered the Romanian market last year, when it bought Neocity Tower office building and the building that hosts Xerox Romania.
