Microsoft launched theWindows 7 operating system in 12 languages globally on October22nd. According to Microsoft data, the trial version of Windows 7was downloaded by almost 100,000 users in Romania. The Romanianbusiness of the producer of the Windows operating system climbed by34.4% last year, to 109.9 million RON (29.8 million euros), and itsnet profit rose 3.2%, to 19.2 million RON (5.2 million euros),according to data sent by the company to the Ministry of Finance.US-based Microsoft is the world's biggest software applicationsproducer.
