Iran Khodro plans to export sedans to Romania

The state-controlled Iranian company Iran Khodro, the biggest carmaker producer in the Middle East, plans to export a sedan car manufactured in Belarus onto the Romanian market, according to the Iranian news agency PressTV. The second stage of the development of the production facility in Minsk, in partnership with the local company Unison Car, will allow the Iranian manufacturer to export cars onto markets in Eastern Europe. After the project is completed this year, around 2,700 Samand cars will be exported to Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Russia. The Iranian company produces around 500,000 cars and trucks a year.
