11.03.2008, 20:31 28

Dragos Dinu, CEO of pharmaceutical company A&D Pharma, earned almost 26,000 per month last year, over 2.5 times more than the around 10,000 euros made in 2006, shows a report published on the London Stock Exchange. He also holds 2.23% of the company's shares, which are worth 6.6 million euros. On average, an executive earned between 7,500 and 18,300 euros a month last year, according to a Stanton Chase Romania study. A&D Pharma is the first Romanian company to make such data available to the public. David Ebsworth, chairman of A&D Pharma, had the highest earnings last year (2.2 million euros). Also mentioned in the report, is a bonus granted to Ebsworth (1.5 million euros), which had a negative impact on the company's results; however, the report does not specify whether the sum was included in the 2.2 million-euro income or not. Managers mentioned in the report include Chief Financial Officer Roger de Bazelaire (who earned 174,000 euros last year), the Chief Operating Officer of the Wholesale division, Vivian Diaconescu (235,000 euros), the COO of the Retail division, Claudiu Opran (190,000 euros), and Vice Chairman Urs Kamber (96,000 euros).
