Electrica Oltenia, the biggest electrical power distribution company in terms of the number of customers, which is now part of the Czech power group CEZ portfolio, generated, turnover worth CZK5.28bn (188.2m euros) in the first half of this year, while operating income stood at CZK589m (20.9m euros). The company projects net income worth 95.4m RON (27m euros) by yearend. At the end of last year, Electrica Oltenia reached net income worth 69.4m RON (19.27m euros) amid turnover standing at 1.3bn RON (361m euros). This year's investment budget stands at 183m RON (52.2m euros). CEZ representatives stated their next target on the domestic market is Electrica Muntenia Nord, as the company is looking to develop a synergetic working relationship with Electrica Oltenia. Securing additional production facilities is still a priority for the group in order to strengthen its position on the Romanian market.
