EDS printing facility boosts turnover target 15%, to 23m euros

German printing group Euro - Druckservice estimates it will derive turnover worth 23 million euros for 2009 from its Romanian printing facility, up 15% compared with the business plan made in the autumn of last year. "Our target is 23 million euros this year. We have identified new growth opportunities in our field, production of large circulation print, and this will enable us to meet our target," said Albert Andras, general manager of the Euro - Druckservice printing facility in Brasov. The printing facility was built last year, and started operating in September. The initial investment was put at 20 million euros. "Upon completion, the cost ended up being lower. It amounted to slightly over 19 million euros," added Andras. The turnover forecast by the company for the last three months of 2008, after the facility started to operate, amounted to 2 million euros, according to previous statements. The printing facility specialises in production of catalogues, advertising material and magazines with a high circulation.
