Travel agency Christian Tour, owned by Cristian Pandel, forecasts 12 million euro revenues for this year, 80% higher than last year. "In the first ten months of this year, we exceeded last year's turnover, posting 10 million euros in revenues. The growth was driven by a diversification of our holiday packages, with 80% of our revenues being generated by outgoing travel. Another growth factor is the expansion of our agency network," said Cristian Pandel, adding that the agency sold holiday packages for 50,000 Romanian tourists, almost double as many as last year. "We have seen the largest number of travel packages sold this year, after we introduced new destinations," he said. Pandel added he was expecting to sell a similar number of packages next year. "We are not expecting an increase in the number of clients who will acquire travel packages next year, but hoping to preserve the number of tourists," he said.
