Carl Reh Winery eyes 20% growth

04.05.2004, 00:00 11

Winemaker Carl Reh Winery, the Romanian-based branch of German company Reh Kendermann, estimates sales to reach 1.25 million euros this year, up 20% from 2003. "Last year brought big sales and a great grape yield, which means that 2004, when we sell most of the 2003 yield, will be an exceptional year. The local wine market has posted remarkable growth, despite the very poor results logged in 1990-2000," says Rodica Capatana, general manager of Carl Reh. The company exports 90% of its output, mainly to the German market. ZF
