BRD invested almost 8 million euros to become shareholder of Mobiasbanca, the fifth leading lender in Moldova, getting a 20% stake as a result of its participation to a capital increase worth 11.5 million euros. Another bank besides BRD that bought into this lender is EBRD, whose stake stands at 8.84%. Mobiasbanca became a member of the Soci?t? G?n?rale Group in January 2007, when the French bought 70.57% in the Moldovan bank for 18.4 million euros. After a capital increase in which BRD and EBRD participated, SocGen's stake went down to 67.85%, with 3.31% going to some minority shareholders. Mobiasbanca is listed on Moldova's Stock Exchange.
