BCR Leasing, one of the largest players on the domestic leasing market, has taken out a 5 million-euro loan from EBRD, to use as a source of funding for small and medium-sized enterprises. This is the second loan the leasing company got from EBRD, with the first secured last autumn. Part of the BCR group, BCR Leasing is one of the largest such companies on the Romanian market, having totalled more than 220 million euros in contracts in the first eleven months of the year, 70% more than the value of the contacts concluded in 2004. Under the circumstances, the company estimates to see 230 million-euro contracts for the entire year, officials say. Vehicles account for the bulk of funding, with 59% of the total being taken by cars and 20% by utility vehicles. ZF
