Avrig 35, one of the major developers on the real estate market, sold an office complex of two buildings, in the Obor area of Bucharest at the end of last year. The buyer is the British investment group City Capital Property Advisers and the transaction amounted to 30.5 million dollars. "We received approximately ten bids. We even received offers after the sale to City Capital," Alexander Hergan, the groupes CEO told Business Magazin, in reference to the sale of the two office buildings located in the Obor area. This is the second transaction for Alexander Hergan, after Accesion Fund took over Charles de Gaulle Plaza (photo), the headquarters of Vodafone and of the banking groups HVB and Raiffeisen, in mid last year - a transaction for which it earned over 80 million euros, according to the latest information on the market. Avrig 35 is also involved in the project of the Titan shopping centre, where the first Auchan hypermarket was opened last year. British investors from City Capital have also closed two investments on the domestic real estate market so far. The first was related to the office complex from the Obor area, where Vodafone and Petrom rented spaces and was handled by the Capital Partners investment firm. The British closed the second transaction worth 10 million euros last month, through which they purchased the office building where the headquarters of the cable communication company UPC Romania are currently located, from the company M&C Development.
