Asirom to boost its capital by 13m euros

The management of Asirom, controlled by businessman Ioan Niculae through InterAgro, has proposed that the shareholders make an increase in the company's share capital through a cash contribution of some 13 million euros. The decision is to be adopted in a General Meeting of Shareholders, according to company representatives. The general meeting, which will take place on December 4, can be attended by Asirom shareholders registered in the Shareholders' Registry by November 14. This date was set as a reference date, reads the GM notice signed by the chairman of the Board of Directors of the insurance company, Nicolae Iliuta. The company's capital currently amounts to some 18 million euros, and it will reach 31 million euros following the increase. Businessman Ioan Niculae had announced another capital increase worth 25 million euros at the beginning of this year, but that was never done. According to data sent to the RASDAQ, the company's shareholders are InterAgro (50%), Broadhurst Investments Limited (14.93%), QVT Fund (12.23%) and AVAS (6.38%). Other minority shareholders own 16.46%.
