Aerotravel Lufthansa City Center, one of the leading tour operators on the market, estimates a 29.6 million-euro turnover this year, up 23% against the same time last year and forecasts a 36 million-euro turnover next year. "Around 80% of the business is generated by the corporate segment, with the remaining share being accounted for by the leisure segment. In Bucharest, for instance, the corporate segment generates around 90% of the turnover. However, the most dynamic segment in terms of growth is leisure travel, which has gone up by 30% this year," said Antonio Nitu, general manager of Aerotravel Lufthansa City Center. The company's leading clients include tyre manufacturer Michelin and Russian petroleum group Lukoil. The approximately 22% increase estimated for next year will be generated in part by an improvement in the range of offers through the launch of holiday packages for anniversaries, to destinations such as Portugal, India, Venice and cruises on the Mediterranean Sea.
