ADM Farm, a pharmaceuticals distributor, which owns the Sante drugstore chain, is set to invest around 4m euros this year to expand its retail network to 30 drugstores. "At the moment, we have 17 drugstores and intend to have 30 by the yearend," stated Dragos Pop, general manager of ADM Farm. ADM Farm Bucuresti posted an income worth 1.5m euros in the first half of this year, six times higher than the value reported in the same period of 2006. At the same time, the company's turnover advanced by 61% against last year, to 45m euros. H1 results prompted company representatives to revise their estimates for this year. "Given the good start, we now target a turnover of over 100m euros this year, above forecasts at the start of the year that pointed to 80m euros," said Pop. On medium term, the company intends to double its capacities in all outlets and reach an above 10% market share.
