Anthony Denny, founder and president of the Czech distributor of used cars AAA Auto, estimates to sell up to 25,000 cars by 2012, depending on the trend of the local car fleet and of buyers' purchasing power. Currently, the company sells 2,500 cars on the local market. "In 2011-2012, we want to sell between 20,000 and 25,000 cars. The rise in wages will bring us clients who previously could not afford a car," said Denny. According to him, around 60-70% of the company's clients are average-income males, with a monthly income of 800 euros, aged 30 on average. In addition to increasing the number of second-hand cars sold, AAA Auto will also conduct a programme to expand its national retail network and open another six sales centres within the next two years. In 2008, the first centre will be opened in Timisoara, while the second will be located in Cluj-Napoca or Constanta.
