A plant manager makes 20 times more than a worker

The gross monthly salary of a plant manager is 23,550 RON (5,750euros), whereas workers involved in production earn 1,114 RON (270euros) on average, shows a survey conducted in January by HR andmanagement consultancy AIMS Human Capital Romania on 98manufacturing companies that own plants in the North, West, andcentre of Romania.
Thus, the monthly salary of an executive running a productionfacility is on average 20 times higher than that of a worker.
The highest salary in production, as reported in the AIMS study,amounts to 10,000 euros a month. "The lowest monthly salary is theminimum wage, 600 RON in gross amount, which some companies pay toentry-level workers or to trainee workers. The biggest salaryreported in the survey is around 40,000 RON in gross amount (around10,000 euros) and is earned by a general manager who oversees bothRomanian operations and those in other European countries," saysGynella Parfenie, senior consultant with AIMS Human Capital.
