7.5m-euro sales for Mango and Promod

BS Productie, the holder of the franchise for the Mango, Promod and Castro brands on the domestic market has estimated turnover of 7.5 million euros for this year. It posted more than 2.3 million euros last year, according to Finance Ministry data. "Romania is an interesting market, both demographically and economically, but even more so because of the special interest of the Romanian consumer in fashion and everything that it stands for," stated Irina Radu, the company''s general manager. The business growth is due, according to officials, to the expansion of the store network. Out of the five current stores, four were opened in the last 12 months, namely two Mango stores (in Plaza Romania and Iulius Mall Timisoara), one Promod and one Castro outlet. The Mango, Promod and Castro stores sell clothing and accessories for average and above-average income customers. ZF
