Renovation Solar, part of Renovatio group with 50m-euroturnover, registered in Cyprus, has completed a 10m-euro investmentin a photovoltaic panel plant in Satu Mare currently employing 17people. "We've had several reasons to choose this location, withaccess to the large markets we focus upon in Central Europe, aswell as the highly-skilled workforce we've found here as the mainfactors," stated Andre Fraga, an international development managerof Renovatio group. The group operates in Romania, Poland, Bulgariaand Italy, being known on the Romanian market particularly throughthe investments it is carrying out on the wind energy segment. TheSatu-Mare plant will have annual production of around 210,000panels, most of which will be exported. "(...) Romania is stillstruggling to put up a support scheme for solar energy investmentsand this is why there are no projects we could supply with ourproducts. In the first phase, the plant will only supply to theprojects we're developing," Fraga also said. "(...) When the plantis completely operational, there will be 50 jobs," he added.
