Businessman Liviu Tudor, who, despite being the biggest Romanian office owner, very seldom made statements to the press, is continuing real estate investments this year, with work under way on around 50,000 square metres of office space, a block with over 300 studios which is set to be rented out, and an 18,000 square-metre club in the Militari district of Bucharest, which will service the West Gate project.
"We are currently working on five projects: a studio block in
West Gate with over 300 studios, which will be completed this year,
as well as two office buildings, one in West Gate and one in Novo
Park. In addition, we are working on an office building in West
Gate, which will be completed next year and on an 18,000
square-metre club.
Investments in the five projects amount to 35
million euros, with no money from the bank, and 20% of the
investment covered with EU funding," Liviu Tudor said.
He currently owns offices with a lettable area of over 130,000 square metres, in Militari (West Gate) and Pipera (Novo Park), which are rented out mainly to multinationals such as HP, Kraft, Citbank and Dacia-Renault.
