After Bucharest, Raiffeisen lists FP in Vienna, Frankfurt and Stuttgart

Raiffeisen Centrobank, the investment bank of the Austrian financial group of the same name, listed eight FP equity-backed structured products on Vienna, Frankfurt and Stuttgart bourses shortly after the Fund's floatation in Bucharest. Brokers say FP is thus gaining visibility and reaching investors who have not eyed the Romanian capital market, yet.

The eight products are currently traded on the secondary markets of the Vienna, Frankfurt and Stuttgart bourses. Each of them has a stake of 100 FP shares "behind" it. When buying these warrants, investors on the bourses of Vienna and Germany indirectly become shareholders in the Fund, but only the issuers of these warrants (Raiffeisen) has a voting right in AGA. Raiffeisen Centrobank officials could not be contacted by edition close.

Prior to issuing such products, Raiffeisen Centrobank must hold the underlying asset, in other words be a shareholder in the Fund, as when the warrants reach maturity (on September 9, 2011 or February 3, 2012), their holders get either FP shares or cash for the warrants held from Raiffeisen.
