Ţiriac extends Petru Văduva's term as CEO
Ion Alexandru Ţiriac, representative of the shareholder in the management boards and in the boards of directors of member companies of the Ţiriac group, says Petru Văduva's term as CEO of Ţiriac Holdings has been renewed, with the contract signed almost two years ago set to expire at the beginning of next year.
"We are extremely happy with Mr. Văduva's performance and we
will continue our collaboration in the future. As CEO of the Ţiriac
holding, Mr. Văduva is operationally responsible for all interests
of the Ţiriac family," said Ion Alexandru Ţiriac, the son of
businessman Ion Ţiriac.
Ţiriac Holdings, a business controlled by billionaire Ion Ţiriac,
which operates on markets such as the auto segment, real estate,
financial services and aviation, last year neared the one
billion-euro mark, according to market estimates. The holding owns
15% in Metro Cash & Carry Romania, 45% in UniCredit Ţiriac Bank
and 47% in Allianz Ţiriac Romania among other stakes.
