Solomon: The term as CEO in Romania has been the best time in my careerHer term as CEO of Vodafone Romania, during which time she ran a nearly 1 billion-euro business on one of the toughest telecom markets in the EU, has been the best period in her professional career, said Liliana Solomon at a meeting with the press, her last as CEO.

"This has been the best stage in my professional career so far, partly because this has been my first job as CEO where I had the opportunity to take over a growing business, which then went through a rebranding and was integrated into a different organisational culture," said Solomon. She will take over as Vodafone's Director of Operations for 14 European countries, at Vodafone's headquarters in London next month.
The new position did not involve office work, but travelling to all 14 countries and working directly with the local management teams to implement the group's strategy, Solomon explained.
