Forza Rossa, the Ferrari importer in Romania, is set to open the second Ferrari store in July, in Monaco principality, in the wake of 3.5m-euro investments, after having opened the first such store on Calea Victoriei of Bucharest in December 2009. Forza Rossa company is owned by the former health minister Ion Bazac, with a 47.50% stake, his wife, Camelia Bazac (31.4%) and Cefin Holding (21.2%). Forza Rossa opened the only Ferrari dealership in Romania in the wake of 5m-euro investments in May 2008, and subsequently opened a store in Bucharest. "Luca di Montezemolo (Ferrari chairman) will announce the launch of Ferrari Store in Monaco and on the same occasion will offer details about the future Forza Rossa dealership. We'll thus be the first dealer that holds Ferrari stores and a dealership in another country," stated Ion Bazac, Forza Rossa chairman. Since its opening, Forza Rossa has sold 69 Ferrari cars in Romania. This year, the dealer expects to sell the 25 allotted units, with 11 units still on the waiting list, whose delivery is subject to availability from the carmaker. The company reported 6.5m-euro turnover for 2009 and this year plans to drive the figure to 10m euros.
