Endava Romania, part of British group Endava, a provider of IT business services for financial applications, telecommunications, media and IT technology, ended 2009 with turnover worth around 3.8m euros, up over 22% from 2008. The Cluj-based company in 2008 generated total sales worth around 3.1m euros (11.29m RON). "Endava group has in the past three years registered 79% annual average growth, ending 2008-2009 financial year with turnover worth about 23.4m euros and Endava's Romanian operations now bring 16% of the group's revenues. We managed to keep our growth pace steady in Romania as we hold a balanced customer portfolio, made up both of British and US companies, as well as Romanian ones, which were not simultaneously hurt by falling IT budgets as a result of the global crisis," Valentin Metzger, Endava Romania CEO, told ZF Transilvania. At present, Endava has 185 employees in Romania, with the company's management planning to boost the headcount by at least 30%.
