Duraziv, a company controlled by businessman Daniel Guzu,
founder of varnish and paint business Fabryo, will invest over one
million euros (net sum) this year, three times as much as 2009's
promotional budget. After construction material producers were
reluctant to invest in advertising last year, the prospects of a
better second half of 2010 prompted them to announce higher
investments in promotion this year. "We are talking about one
million euros in net sum, and it will be distributed across the
whole year, considering the characteristics of the market we are
operating on and the opportunities identified. The Duraziv brand
will be promoted both through traditional channels - TV and radio -
, and through specific trade marketing methods," says Guzu, general
manager of Duraziv.
The company posted a 9 million-euro turnover
last year, similar to the 2008 figure.
