ZF Agresiv portfolio triples in nine months

ZF portfolios, launched by Ziarul Financiar at the beginning of March to simulate three investment strategies with different risk degrees, posted growth of 78% to 188% in nine months.

The ZF Agresiv portfolio, which pursues as high a profit as possible by investing in high-risk shares generated 188% profit, and thus managed to exceed all the indices of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, which went up by 102% to 180% during the same period.

"ZF Agresiv is mostly made up of shares with a higher risk than the market average, either because it is about companies with direct exposure to the market or companies with a higher leverage, as well as companies we thought were undervalued at the beginning of the year. It could only be expected that we would see a higher growth than the stock market in a time of market growth. What is even more interesting is that we managed to achieve higher growth than any mutual fund on the market, and six of the top performing ten stocks this year were part of this portfolio," explained Vlad Nicolaescu, senior editor of Ziarul Financiar, who built the portfolios in question.

ZF Moderat portfolio, which has a somewhat lower risk, had a 176% yield, while ZF Conservator, which is set to preserve investments in times of Stock Exchange decline, posted 78% increase.

The portfolios are not an investment recommendation, but merely an attempt to show what profits the capital market has in store and the various strategies that can be applied even by investors with small amounts of money available.
