Euromedic: We saw a 151% turnover rise in H1

Euromedic, one of the leading players on the medical services market, posted a 151% turnover rise in the first half of the year, with the main factor behind this rise being the expansion of the company's network of imaging diagnostic centres. Euromedic's growth is in line with the market trend - the medical services sector is one of the few economic sectors to have seen a two-digit rise in a time when most all businesses are experiencing a decline. "Following the opening of new centres and in the wake of an over 30 million-euro investment, we recorded a 151% turnover rise in the first half of the year, against the first half of last year," says Anca Petca, president of the Euromedic Romania group, without providing the specific value of the turnover. Euromedic posted a 14 million-euro turnover last year, double as much as in 2007. The company currently has eight imaging diagnostic centres in Arad, Constanta, Petrosani, Bucharest, Medgidia, Pascani, Iasi and Focsani.
