Tecar family invests 39m euros in Pehart Tec

Pehart Tec in Alba county, a manufacturer of tissue and paper towels under the Pufina brand, has announced a 39 million-euro investment programme which will be completed within the next two years, and which aims to double both production and of turnover. The company, a part of the MG-Tec group, headquartered in Dej (Cluj county), controlled by the Tecar family, estimates it will post an around 22.7 million-euro turnover, up 60% against last year. "The investment programme targets the acquisition of a tissue production machine which will enable us to reach a production capacity of 3,000 tonnes per month, compared with 1,700 tonnes per month at present," said Vasile Ilies, general manager of Pehart Tec.
