Citibank Romania launches Vendor card

Citibank Romania has recently launched a new product, the Vendor Card, especially designed to make electronic payments to suppliers.

The first Vendor Card issued by Citibank went to Electrolux, the first company to have implemented this automated payment method in its relation with suppliers. The use of this card makes classic payment methods, such as cash, money order or cheques unnecessary.

"Citibank's permanent goal is to develop innovative and competitive solutions to meet the requests of the market and make us the favourite partner for our clients.

Citibank's first argument this year is the Vendor Card, a unique product offered in Romania," said Cristela Bejenaru, Citibank's cash management department manager.
