Pro TV tops competition in 2003

Pro TV maintained its leading position acquired on the TV station market over the last few years, as it was again the market leader in 2003.sleadendtion had the highest average ratings on the main audience segments and on all the time slots in the last twelve months. The data supplied by TNS-AGB International show Pro TV was the first option of most urban TV viewers in prime time (7 p.m.-11 p.m.). An average of 8.1 rating points and a 20.4% market share allowed Pro TV to outrun Antena 1 (7.5/19.0%) at the urban level in prime time, as well as Romania 1 that averaged 6.0/15.1%. Pro TV was even further ahead of the competition on its main audience segment (18-49 years old urban viewers), also called commercial audience, scoring 8.7/24.6%. Ant ena 1 scored 6.8/19.2% on this segment and the public TV station (Romania 1) scored 3.8/10.7%. Pro TV averaged the most viewers throughout one broadcast day both at the urban (3.1/18.6%) and commercial (3.2/21.2%) levels. As a comparison, Antena 1 averaged 2.5/15.0% and 2.3/15.4%, while Romania 1 scored 2.3/14.0% and 1.5/9.9% respectively. Pro TV was again the market leader on the access daypart (5 p.m.-7 p.m.), averaging 6.1/24.1% (urban viewers) and 5.4/25.0% (commercial level). ZF
